I truly believe that these areas of learning should be Common Core standards!īefore I get started, you will see adorable, colorful little containers that I use with so many of my centers and activities! Even though they are not Common Core aligned, they are still important as they are developmentally appropriate for kindergarten in November and promote the strengthening of fine motor skills, direction following, and social studies learning. By correlating as many activities as I can with the Common Core standards, I can sneak more fun into my curriculum-packed school day! As long as I am using activities that hit the standard I need to, I can use it! The only activities that do not align are the crafting activities below. Most of these activities are aligned with the Common Core standards.
